Student Mock Interview Information
DIISD CAREER FAIR AND MOCK INTERVIEW EVENT
APRIL 14, 2020
On Tuesday, April 14, Dickinson-Iron County seniors will participate in the DIISD Career Fair and Mock Interview Event at Bay College West. The English teachers throughout the DIISD have been hard at work throughout the school year planning and organizing this third annual event. Seniors will not only have the opportunity to learn about various career fields by speaking and interacting with business professionals from across Dickinson and Iron Counties, but they will also have a unique opportunity to participate in a “mock” interview with a representative from the student’s general career interest. While the purpose of this event is to expand students’ understanding and appreciation of the interview and job search process, the additional benefits for the students are many. Last year, the contacts students made and the experiences they gained in their mock interviews led to several job placements and internships. Participation in this event is REQUIRED for ALL seniors and will be a major grade for the last quarter of senior year.
